Lucille Audrey Layne passed on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Lake Taylor Hospital. Lucille was born on July 1, 1915 to Lulu and Lee Layne. At the age of twelve she was ‘adopted’ by Walter and Harriett Fulford. For 33 years Lucille was a secretary for Norfolk Public Schools and also worked part-time for Dr. George Alston. She is survived by her sister Harriett F. Goodrich and a host of other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at grace Episcopal Church where Lucille was a Life Time Member. She served on the Altar Guild, taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and was an active member in the St. Teresa Guild.
