Ms. Gloria Jean McCain, age 61, died at Sentara Leigh Hospital, on Sunday. December 24, 2017. The cause was cardiac arrest.

Born August 19, 1956, in Wakefield, Va., she later moved to Norfolk, Va. where she graduated from Maury High School. She was a member of Norfolk United Methodist Church. She later became a member of Enoch Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, Va.

Survivors include her longtime companion, David Evans, Her Mother, Mary Moore of Owings Mills, Md., two daughters, LaQuwana Boose (Justin) of Newport News Va., and Kiwana Boose (Quinae), of Norfolk, Va., one sister, Annette Wagoner (Maurice) of Owings Mills, Md., two brothers, Kevin Moore (Kairi) of Okinawa Japan and Kenneth Moore of Norfolk, Va., four grandchildren, Jaikiara Boose, Jakhi Graham, Heavenly Spencer of Norfolk Va., and Janaiya Davis of Newport News, Va. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Gloria was preceded in death by her Father, Fred (Joe) Moore.
