Condolences

Condolence From: P. Henderson
Condolence: Dear Family, I am very sorry for your loss. However, Almighty God has provided a guarantee of a resurrection to all people in His memory by resurrecting Jesus from the dead. (Psalm 83:18; Acts 17:31) We will be able to see our loved ones again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) May you trust in God to comfort you until that time. (Prov. 3:5, 6) He is the Source of our help. (Ps. 121:1, 2)

Condolence: I share your grief of Jerome's passing. The Light of God, the Power of God, and the Love of God is always with us and sustains us on our earthly journey. I will remember the years I first met Jerome at Norfolk State University. His mother, Odessa H. Chesson, and my mother knew each other from Plymouth, NC. We talked about the political and social climate back during the days of the civil rights movement. He will be missed and the memories will not be forgotten. Sincerely, Carolyn C. Johnson

Condolence From: C.A. Goodman
Condolence: I would like to offer my condolences to your family. Death is such a painful event that it’s called an enemy in the Bible at 1 Corinthians 15:26. Yet, at John chapter 11 Jesus compared death to sleep. He did this because he knew that people can be awakened from death just as he resurrected Lazarus. Therefore, you can take comfort in knowing that Mr. Harrison is resting in peace, and will be resurrected just like Lazarus in due time.
