Obituary for Jeanette Marie Robinson (Ingram)
Jeanette Marie Robinson, age 72 of Norfolk, Virginia transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, October 21, 2019 in her home.
Jeanette was born July 28, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia to Grady Colson Ingram and Lucy Ann Ingram. She graduated from night school and later attended school to become a Dental Assistant.
Jeanette met and later married Forester Robinson in 1968. After their union she migrated to Pennsylvania. After years of working for General Electric in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jeanette came back to Norfolk, Virginia to pursue her trade as a Dental Assistant. She also worked in the Home Health Care field until she was unable to work.
Jeanette truly lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures; playing scrabble (her favorite pass-time), listening to her favorite gospel artists, chatting with friends and family as well as spending time with her grandchildren. Jeanette had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She was just an all-around sweet lady.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Colson Ingram and Lucy Ann Ingram; brother, John Ingram and brother in law, Charles Shannon.
Jeanette leaves to cherish her memories her son, Christopher Robinson of Biloxi, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Versace Robinson, Xuela Robinson, and Zynphony Robinson (Cameron Williams); three brothers, William T. Ingram (Ann) of Palm Bay, Florida, Grady C. Ingram (Eunice) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Stanley Ingram (Sonja) of Norfolk, Virginia; one sister, Juanita Shannon; nieces and nephews; extended relatives and friends.
