Bill was always a friend; perpetually optimistic, always embracing.

He was an exceptional doctor who had a special way of talking to and comforting his patients. Our community has lost a wonderful member of the medical profession and good friend. We are very sorry for the loss of a wonderful doctor and honorable human being. We have memories of the compassionate and very capable care of our family members over the years. I worked with Dr. Robinett at NDC Urgent Care (later Sentara Urgent Care) for 10 years as a front desk patient rep. He was one of the most genuine and compassionate people I have ever met. My condolences to his family and coworkers, we lost an amazing human being.

We are so fortunate to have known him and experienced his his gift of healing at NDC.

My sincere condolences to Iva, his kids, his colleagues and friends. I worked w/Dr Robinett at NDC Medical Center for many years..interacted w/him on almost a daily basis usually..He always treated me w/respect and kindness..his patients were his only concern while on the job..but he made us laugh at times and also made us pull our hair out at times..but he was always there to help. I will never forget what he did for me when I lost my son..He will be missed by all who knew him.
