Obituary for Linda Rena Brown (Mitchell)

Linda Rena Brown was born on October 27,1963 in Norfolk, Va to Willis Mitchell and Ella Inman. She attended the public schools of Chesapeake, VA and graduated from Oscar F. Smith High School in 1982. She later took some years of college and obtained an Associate's Degree. Her spirit and presence was one of a kind. She had a heart of gold. Linda was also a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church and sung in the choir. She worked for Unidyne Corporation/L3 Communications for 20+ years as an administrative assistant. She was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She knew how to put you in your place, yet, still show love with the very same breathe. She was classy and fierce and loved even stronger. In her leisure, she enjoyed spending time with family, shopping and watching cooking programs.
She was preceded in death by grandparents Willis and Helena Mitchell, grandparents John and Isabella Morris and also step-father Richard Inman.
Linda leaves behind a father Willis Mitchell II and mother Ella Inman, two siblings: Willis Mitchell III and Nanette Andrus, a husband Gregory Brown, three sons: Charles Mitchell, Gregory Brown, Terrance Brown and one daughter Breanna Brown; four grandchildren: Jayden Mitchell, Antonio Lemons, Elijah Holloway and Nylah Brown. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was the true meaning of unconditional love.
