Bobby Lee Jones, Sr., 73, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 in his home. He was born to the late John Henry Jones and Mary Smith on September 8, 1945. He was educated in the Norfolk Public School System.
Bobby was employed with Dominion Power for over twenty five years before his health started to decline. He enjoyed cooking, reading, playing cards and spending time with his family and friends.
Bobby was predeceased by one son, Bobby Lee Jones, Jr.; two sisters, Shirley Jones and Virginia Lee and one of his grandchildren, TaNiqwa Fortson.
Bobby had seven children of which six remain to cherish his memory; April Jones- Walker (Melvin), Shawnte Evans (Kim), Damion Fortson, Latrent Jeffery, Erica Fortson and Tamara Daniels.
Left to continue Bobby’s life legacy and cherish his memory are his twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as a host of extended relatives and friends.
