As the light of dawn of a new day began, Mr. Robert Lee Boley transitioned from labor to reward Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Robert, the second born son to James A. Boley, Sr. and Annette Boley, was born April 13, 1971 in Portsmouth, Virginia. He was known to family and friends as Pug.
To see him and be around him one would think he was quiet and reserved yet to know him one would know he was charismatic, full of life and would tell jokes that would keep you in tears.
Robert graduated from Granby High School in Norfolk, Virginia. He was an avid reader, lover of music, creative, ambitious and witty. He was a talented Machinist where he once worked in the Ship Yard.
No matter the circumstances in life, Robert kept a positive attitude. He had the biggest heart and wanted the best for everyone.
Robert’s life dream was to become successful in the field of Transportation focusing on Trucking as well as Real Estate. He believed in family. In the upcoming months, he had ambitions of traveling to his parents’ birth states and other states to visit and fellowship with family. A pilgrimage he felt necessary.
When Robert’s journey ended here on earth he was reunited with his parents, James A. Boley, Sr. and Annette Boley; including grandparents, aunts and uncles who preceded him in death.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4 KJV
Leaving to cherish his memories are his two brothers, James A. Boley, Jr. and Michael A. Boley; niece, Denim Dior’ Boley; aunt, Hattie Mallard (Richard); uncles, James Ford and Richard Kennedy as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear. ~ Anonymous
