Shirley was born December 25, 1943, in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late Geraldine C. Moore. In her early years, she attended St. Joseph and St. Mary’s Catholic Schools, Norfolk. Shirley was a 1962 graduate of Booker T. Washington, High School, Norfolk, Virginia. She formerly worked as a beautician with Guess Beauty Salon. Shirley was an active member of the Sewell’s Garden Civic League, in which she diligently served as Secretary for over 26 years. She was a member of Queen Street Bap*st Church, Norfolk Virginia. Shirley was kind, thoughtful, loving and touched our lives in so many ways. She believed in family and treasured the *me she shared with us. We will miss her warm and gentle smile, her laughter, her wisdom, and most of all her “Love”. We know our heavenly father is too wise to err, so we bow in humble submission to his will. Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband of 51 years, Albert Samuel Williams, Jr. of Norfolk. One daughter; Michelle Williams of Virginia Beach VA, one grandson; Aaron Williams Sr. (Cortelia) of Hampton VA. Two great grandsons; Aaron Jr. and Amir Williams. Sisters; Victoria Simpson of Norfolk Va. Cynthia Brooks of Portsmouth VA, Vanessa Moore of Chesapeake VA, Maria Bright (Cedric) of Durham NC and a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.
