Obituary for Ralph Foskey Jr.

Ralph Foskey Jr., 70, of Norfolk, VA entered into eternal rest while at River Pavilion-Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, VA on February 17, 2020.
Ralph was born on April 23, 1949 in Norfolk, VA, to the late Ralph Foskey Sr. and Ethel Foskey.
Ralph was educated in the Norfolk City Public School system and attended college for a short time. Ralph enlisted in the United States Air Force in December 1969, as a Security Police. He proudly served with the Security Forces to defend airbases, provide law enforcement on those bases, support the combat arms efforts and protect fellow Airmen during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, Ralph pursued employment in a variety of occupational endeavors.
Ralph was a warm, generous, kind-hearted person, who had a great sense of humor. He valued friendship and adored his family, especially his sister and grandchildren.
In his leisure time, Ralph enjoyed traveling, playing games of skill, chess and cards, watching soap operas, sporting events, and relaxing with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph Foskey Sr. and Ethel Foskey; a sister, Doreatha Payton; two brothers, Richard Baker Jr. and James Baker.
Ralph leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Judith Porter Foskey of Norfolk, VA; two sons Ralph E. Foskey and Rasean Foskey, both of Norfolk, VA; and a sister, Christine Foskey-Brown (Alonzo) of Suffolk, VA.
He also leaves to cherish his memories, five grandchildren, Ralph E. Foskey, Jr., U.S. Air Force, Germany; Raynah Foskey, Jacksonville, FL; Rymiah Foskey, Petersburg, VA; Rayseana Patterson-Foskey, and Heaven Patterson, both of Charlotte, NC; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
