Obituary for Linwood Caine
Linwood Caine, son of the late Bettie and Lester Caine, Sr. was born on January 20, 1942 in Halifax, North Carolina. He departed this life’s journey on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 6:29am to go home to rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior’s unchanging hands to rest in eternal peace. Linwood was affectionately known to family and friends as Ben.
While our hearts are burdened, we are thankful God allowed us to keep him as a part our lives. We loved him but God loved him best. We only ask that God, who never makes a mistake, sustain us during our time of bereavement and give us strength to accept that His will must be done. So let us rejoice in this Great Homegoing of Linwood Caine.
Linwood graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. He worked at the Ford plant for many years. He received his apprenticeship as a Glazier from the Commonwealth of Virginia. He also worked for PPG Industries and Bin Wanger Glass Company. He was a member of Local Union 1846. He also worked for Allied Glass Company.
