Predeceased by his brother: David Edward Jackson
Survived by his children: Darryl L. Jackson (Nicole) of Suffolk, Va., Michele D. Lyons ( Lewis) of Atlanta, Ga., and Danielle C. Gilliam of Norfolk, Va., 10 Grandchildren, 8 Great- Grandchildren, 4 sisters and 1 brother, a host of nieces, nephews in-laws, cousins others relatives and friends.
Educated in Norfolk Public Schools
Worked for DePaul Hospital in the early ’80s
Enjoyed grilling, crabbing, spending time with his siblings and family members, especially during Holiday times. He was a Diehard Redskins fan and 76ers fan.
He was truly his children’s 1st teacher. Making an attempt to educate his kids at home, he shared his gift in Art, he was a great Artist. He taught his children to be respectful, strong, and tough. All three display his tough demeanor.
