God called Mr. LeRoy Robert Wilson to his eternal home on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.
LeRoy was born on March 13, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Ms. Maxon Meyers and Mr. Leroy Wilson. He known to his family and friends as Pepper.
Pepper graduated from high school in Wisconsin; he joined the Navy in 1974 and served for 16 years. He later moved to Norfolk and that's where he resided until his death.
Leroy was a former member of St Luke A.M.E Church in Chesapeake, Virginia where he served as an Elected Elder and President of the Layman's Organization as well as second Associate Pastor of St Luke A.M.E Church.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Maxon Myers; two sisters, Deborah Tate and Karen Tate; a brother, John Tate.
LeRoy leaves to cherish a devoted wife, Easter Wilson; one son, Robert Adkins of Texas; one daughter, Felicia Denise Thompson (Jamal) of Tappahannock, VA; two step daughters Latrice Davis (Kasey) of Orange Park Florida and Lakisha Archer of Portsmouth, VA; six grandchildren as well as extended family and friends.
