On October 18, 2020 God called Walter Lee Washington home to be with him.
Walter was born on December 12, 1948 to his parents Earnest Washington and Elreese Copeland Washington in Orlando, Florida.
In 1971, Walter met and married Mary E. Land. Walter and Mary had a true bond. Their love for one another has always remained the same over the years they shared together.
Walter served in the US Navy from 1972 - 1978 and later went on to work at Lions shipyard as a welder for serval years until he retired.
Walter was a hard-working man who loved spending time with his family and taking care of them. He was known for his cooking and specifically most of all his Cakes!
Walter will truly be missed. Those who knew him know his smile will be missed! No matter how he felt he always kept a smile on his face.
Walter leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Mary Washington; two daughters, Mary Reid and Loretta Land; a special loving granddaughter, Janesha Land; grandchildren as well as extended family and friends.
