Nikita McNeal was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Doris (White) Simmons and surviving father Ronnie Simmons on the 19th of November in 1979. She was raised by her Aunt Barber Johnson after the untimely passing of her mother. She transitioned home to be with the Lord and her late husband Jeremiah E. McNeal on the 12th of March 2021. Her hobbies included baking, taking selfies, and traveling. She attended Norview High School and was a passionate flutist in the marching band.

Nikita is survived by her loving son Jordien McNeal whom she cherished deeply, Sherrita Person (sister), James Person (Brother-in-law), Akeara Johnson-Cobin (sister), Erika Johnson (sister), Ariyana Person (niece), Jadyn Person (niece), Terrance Person (nephew), Doris E. Washington (grandmother) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and all who love her dearly.
