Tyrone Jones also known as Willie Dearing Jr was born on September 11, 1948 in Newport News, Virginia, to the late Rosa and Willie Dearing. Tyrone attended Job Corp before joining the air force. He left to work for NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) as an Electrician until he retired.

Tyrone loved life. He had a passion for repairing and selling cars.

He was known for speaking his mind no matter what the situation. He liked good food and joking with his friends. He liked talking about the old days with his family. He loved spending time with his grandmother that he nicknamed “Peaches” before her passing in 2004.

When he departed this life on August 7, 2022 in Norfolk, Virginia General Hospital, he left behind a host of family and friends. Tyrone leaves to mourn: his six children; Avery Dearing, Yolanda Dearing, Terick L. Nichy, Felton Williams, Willie Jr Dearing, Michelle Dearing, Sonia Huntley(Deceased), Special friend Maggie Walker(Deceased); Three brothers Demetrius Dearing, Tyrone Dearing and Leroy Jennings; One sister, Denise Jennings Young; One Brother-in Law Charles Young, and one Sister in Law, Diane Dearing, and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
