Dorothy Lee Blount
Dorothy “Dot” Lee Blount passed away unexpectedly in a hospital on December 23, 2022, at the age of 88. Dorothy was born on June 22, 1934, in Norfolk, VA to the late Stanley Gill and Lillian Joyner Gill. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Blount; son Michael Blount; and brother, Clifton Roulhac.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Deborah B. Ennis (Errol); and son, Kelvin Blount; granddaughter, Dominique E. Sierra (Anthony); grandson, Erik Ennis; great-granddaughter, Rainbow Sierra; and her brother, Stanley J. Gill (Rosemary); special friend, Judy White, as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Graves Funeral Home, 1631 Church Street, Norfolk, Virginia.
A graveside service and interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Boulevard, Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
The family is grateful for the compassionate care and friendship given by Tacquila, Jazmine, Priscia, Minnie, Ms. Vicky and other caregivers from Hand n’ Heart, Sentara Home Care, Center Well Home Health, and for the outstanding medical care from Sentara Leigh Hospital.
