Obituary for Ronald Clarence Ross
Ronald "Ronnie" Clarence Ross, 51 years old of Norfolk, Virginia departed this life Saturday, December 31 , 2022 at
Sentara Leigh Hospital. Born in Charlottesville, Virginia October 14, 1971, he is the son of Joyce M. Ross of Arrington, VA and the late Thomas J. Ross, Jr. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Isaiah D. Smith Sr., Thomas J. Ross,Sr., and Mary Murphy (Jennie). Ronnie was baptized at an early age and was a member of New Mount Baptist Church.
Ronnie graduated from Nelson County High School in 1991. He was the proud owner and operator of Rall Construction. He specialized in Concrete Services. He was affectionally known to everyone as Double R. He is the oldest of seventeen grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, loved to cook, playing cards, basketball, fishing, and spending time with his two daughters.
In addition to his mother, Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife, LaRhonda Ross, his grandmother, Gladys M. Smith and his three children, Nahjah Taylor, Alianna Ross, and Leilani Ross. He is also survived by his two sisters, Saronda Ross and Devona Ross of Waynesboro, Virginia, three nephews, two nieces, one great niece along with a host of devoted uncles, aunts, and cousins.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the families near and far who have supported them during this difficult time.
