Milikul Mulk Abdullah, 66, life long resident of Norfolk Virginia, passed away on January 20, 2023.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at Njoy Kingdom Church located at 8600 Granby Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23503, on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 12:00 Noon. Apostle Zoél of Njoy Kingdom Church will be officiating. The viewing will be held at Graves Funeral Home located at 1631 Church Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23504 on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Abdullah aka Edward Lawrence Daniels was born to Agnes C. Hinton-Daniels and Edward Daniels on July 22, 1956, in Norfolk, Virginia.
Abdullah was married to Lana Mae Pressley on January 23, 2004, they were married for 19 years.
Abdullah completed the Manpower Development Training for Masonry Program in 1978. Over the course of the last 16 years, he owned and operated Anointed Masonry One, LLC. He was an ordained minister.
As a young man, Abdullah enjoyed running in marathons and weightlifting. For years he served within the jail/prison ministries throughout Southampton Roads. Anyone who really knows him knows that he loved the Lord, loved his family, and he was always willing to give a helping hand to someone in need.
Abdullah is survived by his wife, Lana M. Pressley; his children,, Tony Spencer, Tramarr Abdullah, and Shareen Abdullah-Sanderson (Charles); his stepchildren, Thomas Pressley, Keith Pressley and Cleminth A. Jackson, III (Cassandra); his siblings, Mavis Sutton, Leroy Daniels, Glendale Mason, Vascoe Daniels, and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Daniels and his mother, Agnes C. Hinton-Daniels.
The family would like to thank you all for your prayers, words of comfort and support during this time.
Due to COVID-19, the family will not be hosting a respast following the Celebration of Life service. Family and Friends will be gathering at the home.
