Obituary for Eric Vaughan
A much-loved son, brother, father, grandfather and friend, Eric Vaughan, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023.
Eric was born on August 15, 1973, in Norfolk, VA. He graduated from Bayside High School in 1991. He served in the United States Navy and attended Cheyney University of Pennsylvania in Cheyney, PA, Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA and Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA.
Eric was a loving and caring man. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, playing and watching sports, especially basketball and football. As you all know, he loved his Dallas Cowboys and did not hesitate to voice in opinion about opposing teams. He lived his life to the fullest.
Although Eric is in God’s care, he left behind so many precious memories with each of us to hold close to our hearts. He will truly be missed.
Eric’s loving memories will be cherished by his mother, Theresa Vaughan Lindsey, his Pops, Lloyd (Lesly) Lindsey, his sister, Morgan (Derrick) Lindsey-Stith, his brother, Dontae Blaney, three sons: Camerin Vaughan-Nesbit, Brenden Vaughan and Jacob Kunzle, grandson, Giovanni Vaughan and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers and friends.
