Kristine “Kris” O’Neal born on October 1, 1965 departed this life on Friday, March 10, 2023. She was a caring mother, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, and friend. She was loved by many that knew her for her personality and free-spirited nature. She was preceded in death by parents, Walter O’Neal Sr., and Dorothy O’Neal, aunt and uncle and adoptive parents, Donece James Jr., and Sarah James, and brother Rickie O’Neal.
Kris leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Meghan Dodson, son-in-law Thomas Vance, brothers Bobby O’Neal and Walter O’Neal Jr. (Yulonda), special friend Toni Hart, special cousins Andrew Banks, Aaron “Hank” Brown, Johnnie Hyman, and Christopher J. Hyman, and special uncle Richard Owens, as well as a host of aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Kris was a devoted caregiver to many people including several family members. Those who knew her described her as humorous, kind, strong-willed, and full of life. She will be greatly missed.
