Milton N. James transitioned on Thursday, March 9, 2023. He was born on July 10, 1952, in Norfolk County, Virginia to Milton Mullen and Rosa (James) Dunston. He was a graduate of Great Bridge High School, Chesapeake, Virginia. He served in the United States Army from 1979-1981 with an honorable discharge, after which he worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Milton was also known as Buster Boy, Silky, and Silk to family and friends. Despite his trials and struggles in this life, at heart he was a kind man with a big smile who loved family and believed in God.

Milton is survived by his children Nakita Albritton, Monica Banks, and Marco James, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.
