William Jamerson Hatton, Jr., went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2023. William was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, on January 30, 1938, to his loving parents William Jamerson Hatton, Sr., and Josephine Bryant Hatton.
William was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronald Joseph Hatton.
William grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for most of his childhood. He was a high school graduate with some secondary education. William went into the U.S. Army and served 20 years of service. He retired as E-6, SSG with an honorable discharge April 30, 1976. He then went to work at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard as an Equipment Specialist.
William leaves to cherish: a son, Gerhard Hatton (mother, Helga Hatton); daughters, Heather Booze (mother, Hope Hatton), Jessica Hatton (mother, the late Rita Hatton), and Desiree Hatton (mother, Desiree Emmons); grandchildren, Clifford Dwayne Booze, III, Destiny Hatton, Zhatise Martin.
