Elvis Marcellus Smith passed during the morning
of May 1, 2023. He was born March 28, 1965, in
Norfolk, VA and is predeceased by his parents
Mr. Spellman & Mary Mack Smith.

Elvis attended and graduated from Norview High
School and despite life challenges, he refused to let
anyone or anything stop him from further
accomplishments. After graduating from Norview,
Elvis went to work at various places (Budget Rental
Car, North American Moving Company, Tarmac
Lonestar, Captain D's and Soap & Suds
Laundromat) while assisting with yard work in his
spare time. He had a very infectious smile and was
friendly to everyone who came into contact with
him. He's truly going to be missed by his family,
and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children
Quentin Spruill, Sandra Spruill, Thomas Peet,
Tahime Peet, and Trenee Rogers, his surviving
siblings Spellman"Bernard" Smith, Sandra Smith
Parker, Charles Smith, Anthony "Keith" Smith, and
Zella Norman with a host of surviving nieces,
nephews, great nieces, great nephews and plenty of
cousins whom loved him dearly.
