In Loving Memory of
Yolanda Maria Sweatt
April 25, 1984 – June 26, 2026
Surrounded by God's unfailing love, Yolanda's earthly journey came to an end on June 26, 2026, as she entered the gates of Heaven to receive her eternal rest. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her love, strength, and the memories she created will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Yolanda Maria Sweatt was born on April 25, 1984, in Norfolk, Virginia, at Community Hospital to Tracey McCrea and Andre Sweatt. Although she was born in Virginia, she also had the opportunity to grow up in Killeen, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Chandler, Arizona. Each place helped shape the remarkable woman she would become and the many friendships she cherished throughout her life.
Yolanda worked in a variety of professions, but her greatest joy and accomplishment came from becoming the owner of her massage therapy business, Ria's Got Your Back. She found genuine fulfillment in helping others heal, relax, and restore their well-being. Her caring heart and healing hands touched the lives of many.
Above all, Yolanda was a devoted and loving mother to her two beloved children, Autumnskye and Andre Sweatt, who were the center of her world. She also adored her two dogs, Bella and Knox, who brought her comfort, laughter, and unconditional companionship.
Yolanda had a vibrant spirit that could light up any room. She loved spending time with family and friends, dancing, celebrating life, and enjoying good food. She had an unforgettable sense of style that turned heads wherever she went. More importantly, she had a heart that loved without limits. Once Yolanda welcomed you into her life, she loved you unconditionally without hesitation. Fiercely protective, deeply passionate, and unwaveringly loyal, she was the person everyone wanted in their corner. She was an incredible listener, always ready to offer support, encouragement, or simply a comforting presence. To know Yolanda was to know someone who loved wholeheartedly and stood faithfully beside the people she cared about.
Yolanda's faith in God remained steadfast throughout her life. Although she did not have a church home at the time of her passing, she never lost her trust in Him, even during the most difficult moments of her illness. Her faith carried her with grace, strength, and hope until the very end.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Percy Brown, Hazel Sweatt, and Lloyd Sweatt; and her beloved cousins, Tiffany Sweatt and Michael Brown.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her beloved children, Autumnskye and Andre Sweatt; her loving parents, Tracey McCrea and Andre Sweatt of Norfolk, Virginia; her siblings, Pamela Sweatt of Norfolk, Virginia, Janay Sweatt of Reno, Nevada, Andrea Sweatt of Norfolk, Virginia, and Antonio McCrea and Marcus McCrea of Norfolk, Virginia; her maternal grandmother, Thelma Brown of Norfolk, Virginia; one nephew; five nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who became family through the love she so freely gave.
Yolanda's legacy of unconditional love, compassion, strength, faith, and unwavering loyalty will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she has departed this earthly life, her beautiful spirit will forever remain a guiding light to those blessed enough to have loved her.
