Celina Elida HEADLEY was born on April 17th 1950 to Cyril HEADLEY ( deceased) and Evelyn Gaskin Ginlack in the Republic of Panama. She was their only child.

As a child , she attended primary and secondary school in her beloved country of Panama. Throughout the years, she enjoyed plenty of time between her mother and father.

In her early years, she met and started a relationship with Lloyd Brown Jr. She then migrated to the United States with the help of her aunts Thelma and Gloria(deceased) and attended Wingate Highschool in Brooklyn, NY . She graduated in 1968.

September 18th, 1971 , she married her long time love Lloyd Brown jr. They were married for 29 years. This loving union produced four beautiful daughters.

Throughout her life Celina has worked at Bell-Atlantic ( AT&T) as a telephone operator right after highschool.

She then obtained her cosmetology license from Wilfred Beauty Academy in 1981 and then became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1982.

As a C.N.A. She worked at Dewitt Nursing Home in New York for over 20 years. She also on the weekends served hot meals at the men's shelter faithfully for numerous of years.

In July 2000, Celina relocated to Norfolk Virginia for a fresh start. While in Virginia, she continued her work as a C.N.A. for over 15 years at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Center.She also worked at Beth Shalom Care Center. She enjoyed helping others in need and did so with no complaints or regrets.

Celina retired from endless years of service in 2012.

Celina also found her church family at Calvary Revival Church and had become a positive presence whenever in attendance.

During her retirement, Celina enjoyed spending time in her garden and going on trips along with spending time with her daughter Alexandra.

As she has transitioned, she leaves in mourning her mother Evelyn Gaskin- Ginlack, Willie Ginlack. her aunts Thelma Gaskin, Louise and Violet Lord. She also leaves in mourning her daughters Elisa Brown, Tisha Daniels, Alexandra Brown and Gamali Brown, along with grandchildren Zhaequan Brown, Maya Foster Daniels and Celina Daniels. Great grandchildren Shakur and Rumani Foster Daniels.

Along with a host of family and friends,she will be truly missed and loved dearly by many.
