Robin Denise McCoy of 2412 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. went home to be with the Lord March 20, 2017. A native of Norfolk, Robin was educated in the Norfolk Public School system. She was formerly employed with Sandler Seafood and Lynn Shore Manor Nursing Home. Robin was a member of Angelic Church of God and Christ. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Margaret Cherry, and brothers Robert, Michael and James Cherry, of Norfolk. Survivors include two daughters, Sonja McCoy-Foreman (Paul) and Robin LeBron (Jose, Sr.) of Virginia Beach; one son, Bobby McCoy, Jr. (Melissa) of Moyock, NC; one sister, Shelia Cherry- Gilliam (Arthur) of Norfolk; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a very special friend Robert Knight. Ms. McCoy also leaves a host of other loving family and friends.
