Lesia Rena Brown was born on December 19, 1964, in Chesapeake, VA to Raymond and Constance Brown. She was the 7th born of a blooming family of 10 children; Linda Williams, Alfreda Brown, Vickie Brown-Bailey, Raymond Brown Jr., Gregory Brown, Alvan Brown, Sarita Clark-Brown, Adriane Brown, and DeVona Brown.
Lesia received her education from Indian River High School in June of 1983. Her career varied from different arrays of work, that allowed her to interact with people and be a radiance of joy to all that she crossed paths with. During her career, Lesia attained numerous friends and grew lifelong friendships along the way.
In November of 1995, Lesia welcomed her greatest gift of all into the world, Asia Rena Brown. She was a selfless and devoted mother, who wanted nothing but the best for her. She always worked her hardest to make sure her daughter didn’t go without.
Lesia will be remembered by many for her generous, welcoming, and warm spirit. She loved playing the lottery and visiting the casino. Lesia had a very big heart for her family and being with family brought her great joy. She brought a smile to everyone’s face by making jokes, pulling pranks, and just being herself. Her personality was one of a kind. The simplest things in life was what truly made her happy. In the midst of sickness and life’s uncertainties, Lesia never complained. We could all learn a lesson of strength from the way she lived her life.
She will leave to cherish her memory, her daughter Asia R. Brown, five sisters, one brother, a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
